From humble beginnings, Cécile Manuela came to the United States with her family as a young girl from Cameroon, Africa. God had always been a part of her life, but her personal relationship with Him began in college.
“It was in college that I became aware of how real God was and how much He had done for me,” said Manuela. “Up until then, I was going through confusion as to what to do with my life. Singing was just a hobby but suddenly, I felt a burning need to write my own songs to celebrate God through music.” It was this realization that inspired Cécile to begin writing music to reintroduce the world to God. “I grew up in a musical household. My father was an established Christian singer songwriter in our home country whose records were played on the radio. I never meant to follow in his footsteps but that is exactly what happened and is happening.”
After the Pennsylvania release of her first EP ‘Tomorrow Will Take care of Itself’ in the fall of 2018, Cecile Manuela is ready to try her hand at national and international markets with her debut worship song, ‘Living Sacrifice’.
She believes her music will speak to young people today who are experiencing, depression, anger, sadness, and distrust in God.
“There is so much division in our society. Now more than ever, we need to be kind and care for one another. Through my music, I want people to realize God is real, and that having a relationship with Him is the most important thing that can happen to their lives.”
Fans can listen to ‘Living Sacrifice’ By Cecile Manuela beginning January 11 on all streaming platforms including, iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and more.
